Personal Information (i.e. not research data)

Thinkfield (ABN 26 443 098 853) respects your privacy. We will only use the information you provide for membership to Thinkfield’s WestSense in order to contact you for market research projects. This contact may be in the form of an online survey (sent to your email address) or a telephone survey.

Our Privacy Policy, available www.thinkfield.com.au, contains further details regarding how you can access or correct information we hold about you, how you can make a privacy related complaint, how that complaint will be dealt with and the extent to which your information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.

 

Collection Statement – Identifiable Research Information

Thinkfield respects your privacy. We will only use the information you provide for our research purposes.

On occasion clients may provide Thinkfield with contact details of their members/ customers, in order that we carry out research with their members/ customers, as an independent party. Details are only passed on where our client has obtained your consent to disclose this information to us, or if you might reasonably expect to be contacted for social or market research relating to their business.

If you wish to withdraw this consent, you may do so by refusing to take part in the research when asked. We will not disclose any identifiable research information to a third party other than our clients for a purpose other than conducting our research unless we have your express prior consent or are required to do so by an Australian law.

Information we collect from you is routinely de-identified and/or destroyed. However, until such time, you have the right to access any information we hold about you. You may also request at any time to have any information we hold about you de-identified or destroyed.

Thinkfield will destroy or de-identify your personal information as soon as practicable once it is no longer needed for the purpose for our research. However, we may in certain circumstances be required by law to retain your personal information after our research has been completed. In this case your personal information will continue to be protected in accordance with this Policy. If we destroy personal information we will do so by taking reasonable steps and using up-to-date techniques and processes.

The information or feedback that you provide will be used solely for research purposes. Information that identifies you personally will be removed before data is passed on. It is your right as a respondent to access the information you have provided to us and/or have this destroyed, however this will not be possible once the data has been deidentified.
